Cranberry Shadow

With a hint of brown, red shadow becomes sultry, elegant, and supremely flattering. Sticking to matte powder shadows, makeup artist Kate Lee prepped Nicola Peltz’s eyes with a light tan shadow. “I like using a primer when I opt for a matte shadow, as it makes the application seamless,” she says. To enhance the shape of the eyes, Lee lined top and bottom lashes with Chanel Le Crayon Khôl in Ambre, smudging the pigment into the roots of the lashes and darkening the line at the outer corners. Next, Lee took Kevyn Aucoin The Eyeshadow Duo in Bloodroses, a deep bordeaux shade, and brushed it over the liner and up toward the creases. She then took a second, clean shadow brush to blur the edges and fade the shadow at the inner corners.
